Kimberly P. Schoch M.S.CCC-SLP
Private Speech and Language Therapy Services

About The Clinician/How I Can Help:
I am a speech language pathologist with 6 years of experience. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including the hospital, private practice, and schools. So many of my “mommy” friends have questions about their child’s/children’s speech, but are unable to pay the typical $200 dollar an hour rate for testing. I realize that there is a need for affordable speech-language testing and affordable parent education. I know the importance of early intervention and can instruct you about what your child should be doing at their given age. My goal is to help you learn more about your child’s speech and language needs. Together we can help advance your child’s skills and make it easier to close the gap/avoid significant delays.

My Affordable Services:
I am currently scheduling 1 hour testing sessions for children ages 16 months-6 years old for $80.00 (cash only)!! If more time is needed, the charge will be $15.00 per 15 minute intervals after the initial 1 hour. Your $80.00 fee includes the 45-50 minutes needed to administer a standardized test, a quick screening of your child’s articulation skills, and 10 minutes to review the findings. My goal is to provide you with the nessessary information to start implementing strategies at home first and determine if therapy is warranted. Individual education sessions and/or therapy sessions are only $30.00 for 30 minutes.

FAQ’s:
Q: Do You Take Insurance?
A: No. Cash only. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

Q: Where Are You Located?
A: Testing will take place in my home which is near Mountain Island Lake.

Q: Will I Need To Be Present?
A: Depending on the age and your child’s behavior, you may or may not need to be present. It is asked that siblings not attend, as this is distracting. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrival may result in additional fees for testing to be completed.

Q: Do You Provide Therapy Or Only Testing?
A: I provide BOTH testing and therapy. I’m currently available: Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Evening hours may be available, depending on your needs and the age of the child.

Q: How Do I Know If My Child Needs Testing?

Q: What Do I Need To Do To Schedule An Appointment?
A: Email: kimschochslp@gmail.com or Call: (919)302-7981. I will set up a time slot and paperwork/questionnaire will be forwarded, to be completed and returned prior to your visit.

I look forward to talking with you!!
